With New Independence Came a New Patch
On December 15, 2002 it was voted the CVMA would wear a combination of the CVMA background and the original skull logo as a one piece patch. This patch has special meaning and is still worn by Full Members today.
The Very Beginning - A SCAM?
In the year 1999, the Combat Vets Motorcycle Club (CVMC) was introduced to the Internet. Up until the first part of 2001 everyone was led to believe that the CVMC was a true and established motorcycle organization. However, it was later found out that the CVMC was an Internet scam used to milk money from Veterans.
In the early months of 2001 many of the members that found this scam out alerted one another. Of those “45” decided to, not just cut all ties with the CVMC, but to form their own organization. One dedicated to the interests and the issues of Veterans. An organization that would represent what their initial intentions were.
So May of 2001 became the birth of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA). Dedicated to one mission: Helping Veterans!
